“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
Aaron Siskind
This phrase sums up both the reason I got involved with photography and my identity as a professional wedding photographer.
I grew up in Kalamata and studied Economics in the University of Piraeus. Photography came up as a hobby at first, when I started carrying my Nikon around, taking mainly landscape pictures. Soon, the power of a human moment, the endless variety of a face’s expressions, the beauty of a glance that only I noticed, stole my heart. From my first portrait until now, I still feel fascinated playing with light and shadows and revealing different truths at every angle.
For me, photography is finding something interesting in an ordinary place.
